Who is eligible for the Oberursel Pass?

Anyone living in Oberursel who receives benefits as per the Social Code (SGB II, SGB XII), the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (AsylbLG), the Housing Benefit Act (WoGG), or receives a child benefit supplement is eligible for the Oberursel Pass.

The Oberursel Pass provides the following discounts:

  • A 50% reduction in course fees at the adult education centre (VHS) or music school (VHS).
  • Rentals from the public library free of charge. There is also the possibility of accessing the internet at the library for up to five hours a week free of charge.
  • Access to the “Bad Homburger Tafel – Tafel im Hochtaunuskreis” food bank, Oberursel branch, Wallstraße 24.
  • Option to purchase the €1 culture pass from the Frankfurt “Culture for everyone” association (Kultur für alle e. V.). Details on the offers included as part of the €1 culture pass can be found on the association’s website:www.kulturpass.net.
  • Exemption from dog licence fees.
  • Access to free tickets to local cultural events in the Hochtaunus area.
  • A 50% discount on entry fees for KSFO events (an association for the promotion of culture and sports).
  • Last-minute surplus tickets for KSFO events free of charge.
  • A 50% discount for local events subject to charge such as the Forum for Youth and Culture.
